Our newsletter the Salem Update is a black and white publication. To hold true to the tradition of countless issues this web page has also been created in black and white. The Salem Update is published nine times a year. Contributed articles will be welcome and will express the opinions of the writer, and not necessarily the opinions or policies of the Union or Editor. The Executive Board reserves the right to refuse to publish any item which in their opinion may be detrimental to the Union. All articles are due five days after the general membership meeting.

      With all that formal information up front and out of the way, our newsletter has very valuable important information for our local membership. In this digital age with the internet there are thousands of avenues to obtain information. Although, for those few dinosaurs still left out there in the world, the newsletter is their main source of communication to the happenings of our local.
